In cooperation between the Egyptian Society of Food Safety and the Department of Toxicology and Food Contaminants, National Research Centre.     The symposium  was held on Wednesday 17 February 2016 in the new hall of the National Research Centre under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ghada Waly, Minister of Social Solidarity and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Shaalan, President of the National Research Centre. The symposium’s rapporteur, Pro. Dr. Assem Anwar Abou-Arab and the symposium  organizer is Assi. Prof. Lamyaa Sileem, Secretary General of the Association.

The symposium was held on Saturday, 6 August 2016, at the main hall of the National Centre for Radiation Research and Technology, Atomic Energy Authority in Nasr City under the auspices of the Atomic Energy Commission. The symposium was held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in the new hall of the National Research Center under the auspices of Prof. Ashraf Shaalan, President of the National Research Center. 1- Cooperation between the Society and the National Research Centre in holding scientific symposia specialized in food safety. 2-Cooperation between the Society and the National Center for Radiation Research and Technology – Atomic Energy Commission to participate in symposia and conferences on food safety and provide scientific consultations on radiation treatments and training of quality control staff for food safety treated with radiation.
