Egyptian Society of Food Safety

We are the Egyptian Society of Food Safety, based in the Technological Development Building at the National Research Centre, 33 El Bohouth St. (El Tahrir), Dokki, Giza, Egypt. Our Society was registered / announced by Ministry of Social Solidarity under No. 5785 dated December 13, 2015.

Message of the Egyptian Society of Food Safety The Egyptian Society of Food Safety was established to achieving the following objectives: 1. Monitoring the levels of pollution in the elements of the different local environment and their relationship to human and animal health. 2. Holding symposia, scientific meetings, workshops and international conferences periodically to raise awareness and share experiences and learn about new everything in the field of food safety and public health. 3. Cooperation with researchers in universities, research centers, bodies and ministries of health, agriculture, quarantine, workers in food industries and all those related to food safety and human health. 4. Review regional and international developments related to food safety and consumer health protection. 5.Application of training programs for researchers in universities, centers, research institutes, regulatory bodies and related bodies inside and outside Egypt in the fields of food safety and human health. 6. Conduct training courses on the methods adopted to analyze and estimate the various pollutants and provide the trainees with knowledge and information related to food safety. 7. Conduct training courses for young graduates in various food fields, which help them in the labor market. 8. Work convoys for food and health awareness in Cities and Villages to raise awareness of the Egyptian Citizen. 9. Spread the food safety culture of the consumer in terms of how he can choose his food. 10. Providing scientific and technical support to the food industry companies to produce food safe and suitable for human consumption. 11. Providing scientific and technical consultations in environmental treatments for various pollutants. 12. Preparation of scientific, cultural and social news bulletin issued periodically for awareness raising. 13.Preparation of a specialized journal to publish scientific researches concerned with food safety. 14. Working to confirm the role of the audio and visual media published in spreading the culture of food safety.
